- 6 chicken hamburger buns, torn into bite-sized pieces

- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 8 slices American cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until softened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a bowl, mix torn buns with melted butter and sesame seeds.
- In a baking dish, layer half the bun mixture, followed by half the beef mixture and half the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers.
- Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, vinegar, sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder for the special sauce; spread over the top layer.
