  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside while keeping the grease in the pan.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if necessary, then stir in the cooked turkey bacon, beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until thickened to your liking.
  5. Stir in butter before serving hot.
