Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine sugar, milk, canola oil, egg, and vanilla until blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in diced peaches using a rubber spatula.
- Pour batter into a greased 9'x5' bread pan and bake for 55–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, diced peaches, and vanilla until smooth; add cream or milk to adjust consistency if needed.
- Once cooled completely, drizzle glaze over the bread and serve.
